Ordering your meat in advance ensures that you will not be disappointed.
As well as ordering your turkeys you can also reserve Boneless turkey breasts, geese, ducks, chickens, as well as joints of beef, pork and lamb. We also offer a variety of game items!
There are 2 ways to complete a Christmas order with us - either call, or come into our shop.
Once your order has been confirmed we will process it electronically, making it much quicker to locate when you come to collect.
Please note, all orders are available to collect from 21st December onwards. When it comes to the collection, one of our Church’s team will ask for your name and telephone number before locating your items in our fridge – it’s as easy as that!
Every year we work tirelessly to bring you the best Christmas turkey we can possibly source. To fulfil this aim every bird has to meet our strict guidelines, ensuring that each turkey is naturally reared in line with animal welfare standards.
This year we have selected Appledore Farm, in Kent. This family-run business started rearing turkeys in 1940. Today, Andrew and Clive Wreathall carefully nurture these turkeys on 1,200 hectares of farmland, giving these birds plenty of space to roam.
When it comes to feeding, both turkeys and geese are fed on natural wheat diets that are free from antibiotics and growth promotion additives. Allowing each turkey to mature naturally ensures that they are at their best when you come to cooking them on Christmas day.
To prove just how exceptional these turkeys are, Appledore has obtained Great Taste Awards every single year since 2013 (the Great Taste Award is highly regarded as a stamp of quality for artisan food products). The farm is also part of the Traditional Farmfresh Turkey Association (TFTA), meaning that they only produce “Golden Turkeys” - these birds are reared to strict growing standards in a traditional way.
Pick-up will happen from 21st December onwards.
