It's taken many months of careful planning, designing, photographing and writing but – our new website is finally here!
We decided to partner with another local business called Top Frog – a company run by one of our customers. They specialise in creating websites, social media and content for independent businesses like ours. The director, Callum, is a regular in the butcher’s and he loves what we do as much as we enjoy doing it. Naturally, we jumped at the chance to work together. For us, working with somebody who understands what we are about as a business was a huge bonus and Top Frog understand what we are all about.
We've worked on new branding to make the website look as good as our products. We have also been busy getting professional photography of all of our products, images of the shop, the staff and cataloguing many of the historic images from our 130-year history. Oh, and one and the most exciting announcements is our brand new blog and our revamped Facebook page – it has the full works!
What that means for our customers is we can now better connect with you online. Our whole aim of our digital revamp was to bring the same high-level of quality and service delivered in-store, to our online presence. We want to make sure our digital presence is as good as it can be.

You will now be able to get in touch with us faster through our online channels. Drop us a message on Facebook or via our website’s contact form and we will get back to you as soon as possible. It’s often busy in the shop but the second we get free time we will get back to you.
You can order your products online, check if we have something in stock or simply ask us for some advice.

Our blog and social media promises to be full of content you're going to love! We will be keeping you updated with what's in season and how to cook it, and we will be giving you some ideas to inspire your cooking.

Over the next few months we will be sharing our favourite recipes based on the seasons of the year and also the ingredients that are in season. You will find these across the blog as well as Facebook and Instagram.
